Terms of Service
By adding Omen (the "Bot") to your Discord server or using any associated services at news.omensyncer.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not add or use the Bot.
1. Use of the Bot
The Bot delivers real-time financial news and economic calendar data to Discord channels you configure. You are responsible for how the Bot is used within your server and for ensuring your use complies with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
You must have the necessary server permissions (Manage Server) to configure or authorise the Bot. You may not use the Bot in a way that disrupts, abuses, or harms other users or servers.
2. No Financial Advice
All content delivered by the Bot - including news headlines, economic data, forecasts, and calendar events - is for informational purposes only. Nothing posted by the Bot constitutes financial, investment, trading, legal, or professional advice of any kind.
You should not make financial or investment decisions based solely on information provided by the Bot. Past performance of any asset is not indicative of future results. Always conduct your own research and consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions.
3. Premium Subscriptions
All Omen News features are currently free for every server. Past Omen Premium subscriptions were billed monthly through Discord's in-app subscription system and were governed by Discord's payment terms in addition to these terms.
Subscriptions are charged at the start of each billing period and renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Discord Settings → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period - no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Features previously offered under Premium (Omen Calendar, Elite Posts, pre-event reminders, daily and weekly briefings) are now available to all servers at no cost.
We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with reasonable notice.
4. Availability
We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy, or completeness of news or calendar data delivered by the Bot. The service may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice. We are not liable for any losses arising from interruptions, inaccuracies, or delays in delivery.
5. Intellectual Property
All Bot software, branding, and associated materials are owned by Omen News. News content delivered by the Bot is sourced from third-party providers and remains the property of those providers.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Bot for any unlawful purpose, to spread misinformation, to harass or harm others, or in any way that violates Discord's policies. We reserve the right to remove the Bot from any server at our discretion without notice or refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omen News shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Bot, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from trading decisions made using Bot-delivered content.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users.
